Google seems to be planning to equip the Google Pixel 6a with the same Tensor chipset as in the Pixel 6.

The speculated Google Pixel 6a may be powered by a Google Tensor processor, according to new information that has leaked.

MySmartPrice discovered the Geekbench result for what it believes to be the Pixel 6a, and it confirms prior speculations that the gadget has a lot of processing power.

In spite of the lack of certainty in this data, it seems to be consistent with that shown on the Google Pixel 6 (and Pixel 6 Pro) phones, which were the first to have the Tensor processor.

Although it’s projected to cost $450 for the Pixel 6a when it goes on sale, these results indicate that this is still a flagship-grade processor, which could result in remarkably speedy and smooth performance.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have 8GB or 12GB of RAM, respectively, however our benchmarked smartphone has 6GB of RAM. For the price, this would be a sensible compromise; 6GB of RAM is more than enough to keep this phone functioning well.

In addition to the hardware, the score also took into account the phone’s operating system. For the most part, this phone is operating on the newest version of Android, which is precisely what we would expect from a phone of this calibre. Given that the Android 13 developer beta is already in progress, we expect Google to hold off on releasing Android 13 for the Pixel 7 until later this year.

A year after the Pixel 5a’s debut, we’d heard rumblings of a Pixel 6a launch as early as August, or as part of Google I/O in May. However, according to leaker Jon Prosser, Google originally planned to introduce the 6a in May, but they were forced to delay the introduction due to a lack of components.

There is speculation that the Pixel 6a will receive a facelift to match the other Pixel 6 phones, as well as a bigger battery and quicker charging. However, it is believed to retain the same camera configuration as previously, with the primary, ultrawide, and selfie camera choices.

We expect that the phone will be available in more countries than simply the United States and Japan, like the Pixel 5a was.
