Davies (Doctor Who, A Very British Scandal) developed the original British series in 1999, and an American version aired on Showtime from 2000 to 2005. It’s time for a new iteration of Queer as Folk in New Orleans.
In the remake, a varied group of LGBTQ+ people whose lives are changed after a catastrophe are included in the story. In New Orleans, Brodie (Devin Way), a medical school dropout, is reunited with his best friend, Ruthie (Jamie Lee Curtis) (Jesse James Keitel). Despite his aversion to committing, Brodies can’t help but be captivated to Mingus’s captivating charm (Fin Argus).
