Fortnite possesses a fortnight of Star Wars celebrations

A marketing no-brainer occurred a long, long time ago in a metaverse far, far away. A Star Wars celebration day has taken over May 4, and in honour of this year’s festival, Fortnite is holding a Star Wars jamboree: some of the items, such clothes, is old, while others are new.

Stormtrooper training missions will be available to all players until May 17th in the item store for the outfits of Kylo Ren (Rey), Finn (Stormtrooper), and Boba Fett (Boba Fett). Landspeeders, lightsabers, and other “Jedi contraband” may be obtained and used in these missions.

Five of them will reward you an Empire flag, and players will be able to discover Stormtroopers strewn around the map in both vanilla and zero version Fortnite. If you can hit anything with the E-11 Blaster Rifle, these Stormtroopers will give you in-game bars in exchange (the gun can also drop in chests).

There’s no need for weaponry in a galaxy far, far away. Several lightsabers from the Star Wars universe will be added to the game throughout the course of the two-week cooperation, including those used by Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Mace Windu. It’s possible that Obi-Wan Kenobi will make a cameo in the aforementioned teaser, but that won’t be until the Disney+ series premieres.

The 24-hour industry of Fortnite leaks has brought up a photo of Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, so expect to see her shortly. Speaking of characters, Even though this figure would never use a gun, it’s just part of the metaverse.

Returning to Star Wars, Epic has a lock on this year’s event, which is now a yearly occurrence. Because of previous partnerships, the developer already has a tonne of Star Wars content ready to go and just has to tweak the missions and maybe add a few new trinkets each year. Adding and removing material to create an atmosphere is easy with Fortnite, which has grown to be nearly cyclical in its content. That being said, it’s hard to be too cynical when you get to bash stupid people in the face with a lightsaber.

Except for the Mandalorian skin, which was formerly part of a battle pass rewards trail, none of these items are new. Zorii Bliss (?), Fennec Shand (??), and Krrsantan (?!?) are only some of the lesser-known characters in the Star Wars universe. The intergalactic mayhem continues through May 17th, and you can read the official announcement here.
