OxygenOS 12 for the original OnePlus Nord was just beta-released by OnePlus. According to the firm, the maiden release was a success, since OxygenOS 12 on Android 12 is already being distributed.
Although the OTA update is currently only available to Indian customers, the European version of the firmware is still being tested and confirmed.
However, customers outside of India shouldn’t have to wait much longer for the 4GB upgrade, which also includes the April 2022 security patch, to be made available to them.
Shared the news on the company’s community forum, along with a list of known concerns that would be addressed in a future software update.
Known issues:
- The display of some pages in Settings will be different from the system.
- The screen will glitch in specific scenarios when calling.
- Camera may crash when shooting photos in Portrait mode.
- The abnormal display of thumbnail when taking burst pictures.
- The abnormal display of Quick device connect when in the Guest mode.
