According to Adweek, Apple TV+ released a new ad today called “Everyone but Jon Hamm,” which will air during NFL playoff games this weekend.
In the commercial, actor Jon Hamm sits in a luxurious home and flicks through Apple TV+, jokingly grumbling about how Apple’s original TV episodes and films feature multiple big-name celebs, but not himself.
Many celebrities who appear in Apple TV+ originals, including Samuel L. Jackson, Billie Eilish, Tom Holland, Chris Evans, Jason Sudeikis, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Frances McDormand, Jason Momoa, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Mahershala Ali, Octavia Spencer, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Jon Stewart, are mentioned by Hamm.
“With Hollywood’s brightest performers in front of and behind the camera, Apple TV+ has almost everyone… except Jon Hamm,” Apple added.
Apple’s streaming video service, priced at $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, competes with Netflix and Disney+. Tad Lasso, an award-winning comedy series, is among the approximately 100 original programmes and films available on Apple TV+.
