Charlize Theron recently posted the first stills of MCU character

Charlize Theron is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and she isn’t scared to let anybody else in on the secret. In photographs she uploaded to her Instagram yesterday (May 10), the actress provided a close-up of her sleek new style that is virtually suitable for Lady Gaga.

But of course, beware spoilers underneath! Doctor Strange 2’s storyline elements are ahead after this point. However, having watched the film, I’m not sure disclosing this element is all that important.

So, what are you waiting for? Well, here’s Theron’s Instagram post wherein she’s got a still from the movie, plus a selfie of her own!

Look at that eyeshadow, isn’t it amazing? There was no doubt about it: January Jones sent six fireball emojis in response.

And yes, the whole photo of Charlize Theron and Benedict Cumberbatch from Doctor Strange 2 can be seen by clicking or swiping right.

Charlize Theron’s role in the MCU remains unclear.

Doctor Strange 2 post-credits scene tale claimed that Theron appears as a purple armoured entity that can travel across time and space. If she needs assistance coping with the myriad difficulties he has created, Stephen Strange is more than ready to comply.

Clea, as Charlize Theron verified in the previous post, is her name, as she said in a subsequent tweet. In the comics, Clea has been known as Clea Strange, a sorceress who subsequently becomes a lover and wife of Stephen Strange. The Sorcerer Supreme title is even bestowed to her.

Clea, on the other hand, is much more nuanced. The evil creature known as Dormammu, who was last seen in Doctor Strange’s first film, is also her uncle. Dormammu agreed to leave Earth permanently when Strange vanquished him.

The end credits carried the warning “DOCTOR STRANGE WILL RETURN” in huge white lettering, so we should expect to see Clea and Stephen again. It’s not certain whether or not Clea and Dormammu’s relationship will remain unchanged in the MCU. It’ll be up to the next several Marvel films and time to tell.
