Best trick to Set up Speed Dial on iPhone in simple steps

It’s easy to stay in touch with your friends and family on your iPhone. If, on the other hand, you’d rather make a phone call, you may be curious about how to expedite things. A speed dial option isn’t available on the iPhone, but you may still call rapidly using the following ways.

While using a third-party programme may be faster, you’ll be using more data in the process. As a result, we’ll turn to native choices and tools for our fixes. Your data will remain on your iPhone if you do this. Let’s get started without further ado.

FAVORITES ADD CONTACT TO THEM

The number of contacts you may designate to a speed dial is usually somewhat restricted. As a result, the iPhone allows you to save a list of your most often contacted people in the Favorites section of the Phone application. Contacts may be added to this list so you can make direct phone calls to them. While scrolling through a big list will be a pain, this is preferable than manually creating a Favorites list.

Make sure you’ve followed these steps before adding a contact to your Favorites list:

Open the Phone app on your iPhone to begin the process. In the lower left corner, choose Favorites.

This person will be added to your Favorites list. There is no limit on how many people you can add to this list. Once the contact has been added, just touch on their name to place a call to them.

Utilize the SHORTCUTS APP.

With the Shortcuts app on your iPhone, you can do complex operations with only one swipe. You may use it to add a shortcut to your iPhone’s Home Screen for a favourite contact. The shortcut symbol functions like a speed dial, allowing you to call a contact simply by touching on it. Set it up like this.

On your iPhone, open the Shortcuts app. You may reinstall it from the App Store if you uninstalled it first.

Tap the + symbol next to Call if you don’t see the name of your selected contact.

Using the Contact icon at the top, touch on a contact you want to quickly dial and enter their phone number. To find your contact, either use the search bar at the top of the page or just browse down the list. To add a contact, look for their name and touch on it.

Add to Home Screen from the next screen by tapping the filter symbol in the upper right corner.

Next, you’ll notice an icon that will show on your Home Screen under Preview. The software will create a speed dial shortcut for the contact if you tap the Add button in the upper right corner.

The shortcut should be added to the Home Screen of the device. To make an immediate phone call to the individual listed, just touch on the shortcut symbol.

The speed dial symbol may easily be replaced with a picture of your contact. If you want to have numerous speed dial shortcuts on your Home Screen, this is a good option. In Step 7, under ‘Home Screen Name and Icon,’ hit the shortcut icon. To upload an image, you may either take a new picture or choose one from your computer’s photo gallery.

To add a picture, pick it and then press the Add button in the upper right corner.

If you want to add additional contacts to the Home Screen, you may repeat the previous procedures. Afterwards, you may reorganise those shortcuts on the Home Screen so that they’re easier to use.

DO THINGS QUICKLY

Both these methods are fairly quick and easy. Adding contacts to Favorites is your best bet if you want to set up fast dials for a number of individuals. You may, however, utilise the Shortcuts app if you’re setting up fast dial for an older person, so that they can reach their favourite contacts from the Home Screen.
