It is possible that Apple may release a new desktop Mac named Mac Studio in the future.

When Apple holds its highly anticipated presentation in just a few hours, it seems that the company may surprise us with a whole new computer gadget. “Mac Studio” is expected to be announced during today’s Apple event, according to Mark Gurman, a well-known Apple insider, in a quick Twitter message.

It would be a “cross between a smaller Mac Pro and a more powerful Mac mini,” in Gurman’s words. According to Gurman’s sources, Apple is also said to be working on an A-series chip-powered external display that will run iOS. Both gadgets are “ready to go,” which suggests that an announcement might be made as soon as today, according to his post.

According to YouTuber Luke Miani, the render pictures of the rumoured “Mac Studio” were just released by him in his newest video. Another leaker on Apple goods, Jon Prosser, has cooperated with Ian Zelbo, a concept designer who often collaborates with Miani. A last point to make is that in the video description, Miani gave credit to and thanked Prosser for “assisting with vetting and aiding.”

According to Miani, his sources alerted him about the probable design. “Apple’s first ever entrance into the mid-range desktop market,” according to the leaker, is expected to resemble the present M1-powered Mac mini in appearance. A four-inch height and additional thermal characteristics to prevent overheating have been required by Miani, though.

The gadget will have a curved base with silver sides and a white glass or polycarbonate top, according to the leaker. Today’s Apple event will include the “Mac Studio,” according to Miani.

The new external monitor has also been addressed by the YouTuber, and it may be unveiled today as well. Despite Miani’s suggestion that the product’s name will be “Studio Display,” the leaker said that this is still up in the air.

It’s also alleged by Miani that the display would have a 27-inch diagonal, which is in line with Ming-Chi Kuo’s latest revelation. He also said that it would be less costly and have bigger bezels than the Pro Display XDR. Based on a YouTube video, it seems the display will also have the same stand design as the 24-inch iMac (2021).

According to 9to5Mac’s exclusive storey, Apple’s “Mac Studio” may be imminent. It’s also worth noting that Gurman has come out in support of the aforementioned assertions. Gurman, after all, is a trusted authority on all things Apple. In fact, Gurman broke the news of the Apple event’s upcoming date before anybody else.
