The iPhone 14 is likely to be released in September by Apple. It was projected by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that the new phones will have the most significant front camera enhancement since the iPhone 11.
It is the first time in the company’s long history that the company’s selfie camera will have auto-focus. A 6P lens and a brilliant f/1.9 aperture will be included as well.
Using a front-facing camera for both serious video conversations and ridiculous dances for Instagram is becoming more and more common, so switching to AF is a good idea. The CCM (CMOS camera module) will be made by LG Innotek and Cowell, with Genius serving as the primary lens provider.
According to Kuo, Sony will once again produce the sensor. There’s no information yet on how it will vary from the Japanese manufacturer’s existing 12MP modules. However, even if nothing else is altered, the addition of a better lens and more accurate auto-focus would be a significant step forward.
