Apple introduces new maps experience for three new Canadian cities

Improved Apple Maps have been added to three Canadian cities.

Toronto and Vancouver will soon have a “three-dimensional city view with rich detail, better navigation, realistic walking instructions and more,” according to an announcement on the Apple Newsroom.

Three-dimensional views of Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver may be found on Apple Maps for the first time in the country. In addition to a new windshield view for drivers and immersive walking directions shown in augmented reality, the new city experience includes enhanced navigation and amazing details for road markings, land cover (trees, grass, etc.), elevation, and public transportation routes; a new windshield view for drivers; and much more.

“The greatest, most accurate map of the globe” is what Apple’s senior vice president of Services, Eddy Cue, stated in a statement.

“With this unprecedented level of information in Apple Maps, users will be able to discover the rich history and culture of Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver from a whole new perspective. Built with privacy in mind, this update is just another example of Apple’s unwavering dedication to provide its customers with the most accurate and attractive globe map possible.”
