There is now an Apple TV app for Amazon Freevee (one of the greatest free streaming services).

As of earlier this year, the ad-supported streaming service was renamed Freevee from IMDb TV. Movies and television series are available for free through the service. Amazon originals like Alex Rider and Pretty Hard Cases, as well as Hollywood blockbusters like Knives Out and Deadpool, may be viewed for free on Freevee.

It was previously possible to watch Freevee on Apple TV, but only through the Prime Video app. To make things more difficult for users, content that was either free or only available to those with an Amazon Prime subscription couldn’t be distinguished from the rest. Freevee, on the other hand, now has its own place on Apple TV. In other words, if you’re seeking for free amusement, download it.

Freevee lacked a separate app on Apple TV, making it one of the few remaining streaming hubs. A few LG and Samsung smart TVs and a few Xbox and PlayStation consoles can also use the app. Your home almost definitely has at least one gadget that can connect to Freevee at this time.

Freevee has a bright future thanks to Amazon’s intentions. When the name change was confirmed last month, it was also reported that the streaming service’s output of original content is expected to expand by 70 percent this year. In addition to My Name Is Earl’s Sprung and Sara & Tegan Quin’s High School, there will be a slew of new releases.

Online retail giant Amazon reported on Freevee’s long-term commitment to original content at the same time as revealing its rapid growth over the last few years. Active Freevee users have more than tripled in the past year.

“We’re pleased to establish Freevee as the preeminent AVOD service with content consumers demand,” said Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke. “We’re looking forwards to building on this momentum with a growing slate of imaginative and broadly appealing originals.”

No surprise that Amazon has continued to invest in Freevee. The free ad-supported streaming market is becoming increasingly competitive. Pluto, Tubi, The Roku Channel, Crackle, and Peacock are just a few of the many contenders. If Freevee wants to stand out in such a crowded market, it will have to keep providing viewers with compelling reasons to use its app on a regular basis. Freevee
