Recent sources indicate that Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software may be aiming for September for the release of Hogwarts Legacy.
AccountNGT, an industry insider, has been tweeting about the game’s September 2022 release date in recent weeks. An art book titled “The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy” will be released in November, according to the Rowling Library, fueling these suspicions even more.
For now, the book will be released on September 6, according to The Rowling Library, but “despite the fact that it is not definite, this publishing date might be tied to the videogame release date.”

“A September 1st release date is becoming more and more plausible,” AccountNGT tweeted in response. Another well-known source, Tom Henderson, recently reported that “Warner Bros. is now ready to unveil more about Hogwarts Legacy, which is slated to release Q3 to Q4 2022,” which is in line with AccountNGT’s September forecast.
Harry Potter enthusiasts refer to September 1 as “Back to Hogwarts Day” since it is the day when Hogwarts students return to school. As a result, a release on that day would be appropriate. However, neither Warner Bros. Games nor Avalanche Software have announced an official release date at this time.
After reports of a delay until 2023 surfaced, Warner Bros. Games confirmed that the game would be released in 2022, which is the most recent official confirmation we’ve gotten on that front in recent weeks.

With so little information available, the next Hogwarts Legacy update is sure to be eagerly awaited by those eagerly anticipating the game’s release.
